Syneos Health Signs Agreement with Pacific Clinical Research Network to Support Clinical Trials in New Zealand

MORRISVILLE, N.C., December 23, 2024 - Syneos Health®, a leading fully integrated biopharmaceutical solutions organization, has signed an agreement with Pacific Clinical Research Network (PCRN).The agreement expands the Company’s clinical trial capabilities across a broad range of therapeutic areas in New Zealand.
Pacific Clinical Research Network now becomes part of the Syneos Health Catalyst and Site Network Partnerships program, including 110+ clinical sites and 60+ commercial site networks. As part of the Site Network Partnerships program, PCRN joins a select set of high-performing investigative site networks strategically aligned to Syneos Health’s clinical studies. Site Network Partnerships provide enhanced patient access, improved efficiencies, specialized expertise and access to diverse patient populations across all therapeutic areas and phases.

PCRN is New Zealand’s largest network of clinical trial sites with nine sites spread across the country and was established in 2021 through a merger of Lakeland Clinical Trials Group and Southern Clinical Trials Group with the former being in operation since 2002. In 2023, PCRN expanded its offerings and has a brand-new purpose-built Multi Phase Unit in Auckland which now complements its late phase sites.
Over the past 22 years, PCRN has significantly contributed to the evolution of clinical trials in New Zealand. With a participant-first focus, PCRN conducts clinical trials across all phases and a diverse range of therapeutic areas, offering a streamlined, integrated nationwide partner network.
